A proposal for the Dublin Green Shopping Center and its adjacent 372 residential units in six neighborhoods at the city's Hacienda Drive gateway has been rejected by the city council.
The 3 to 2 vote to turn it down followed four hours of public hearing and discussion at the council meeting April 21. Mayor David Haubert, Vice-mayor Abe Gupta and Councilmember Kevin Hart voted down the proposed General Plan change. Councilmembers Don Biddle and Doreen Wehrenberg disagreed.
