From the article:
Developer Stephen DesJardins is proposing a combination of residential and commercial uses for 189 acres on the former Hewlett-Packard campus in Roseville, hoping to satisfy city requests to have more job centers.
The Campus Oaks development proposal calls for nearly a thousand residential units of low, medium and high densities as well as 140 acres of light industrial development, a 4.8-acre office park, nearly 29 acres over two parcels for a tech business park and 17.5 acres across two parcels for retail and restaurants.
There also would be nearly 64 acres of parks and open space, and Painted Desert Drive, New Meadow Drive and Crimson Ridge Drive as well as HP Way would all be extended through the development.
Tricia Stewart, a senior planner with the city of Roseville, said DesJardins submitted the initial application in June but the city has requested he resubmit it with more details. As well, the City Council will vote Wednesday on aspects of a review plan to ensure the developer pays for city employee time.
