One of the largest lot sales in the region this year will translate into a development plan within the next week, according to an official with the company that purchased the property known as Douglas 103.
Akash Lal of Lal Real Estate & Development in Sacramento said he expects to decide shortly how to proceed with nearly 300 lots in Rancho Cordova spread over a 103-acre parcel along Douglas Road, slightly west of where it meets Grant Line Road.
“There are a lot of opportunities here,” Lal said, describing a piece of land with 213 entitled single-family lots on the eastern side, another 72 slightly larger single-family lots in the southwest portion and 14 large lots in the northwestern corner.
The property also includes land designated for wetlands conservation, two commercial properties and a requirement to build an north-south extension of Americanos Boulevard through its center.
